There are some great quotes and great stories in this book.

I did bring it down a star for inaccuracies and because it felt repetitive towards the end. It may be the point though: drill, drill, drill.

Having said all that :
- the messages are clear, and the writing funny
- there are hands-on exercises to help you question your beliefs after each chapter

If you’re stuck in a rut feeling money is « bad » or rich people are to be despised, and you know you aren’t realising your full potential, this book is for you - wait no more!

All in all, and insightful and generally humorous read, and there is something to be said about what Jen Sincero calls the « Universe ».

My rating: In this final volume of The House of Cards trilogy, Michael Dobbs skilfully sends us back to Francis Urquhart’s humble beginnings in the army. As the tides turn, and some ugly truths threaten to surface, FU looks stuck between a rock and a hard place. Is he evil enough to turn the tables as damning evidence starts piling and the political forces finally start turning against him? This was much better than the second in the series. The depictions of Cyprus and its people are vivid, the writing style throughout was almost poetic and brought back fond memories of my own trip to Cyprus some 25 years ago. It also brought the trilogy to a momentous end. Note: all three books in the revised edition are peppered with typos and various other mistakes. This is not reflected in my rating. My rating: Wow! I can’t remember the last time I read a book quite this fast. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was GREAT! Mikael Blomkvist is a financial reporter for Millenium. He gets torn down by a major financier after publishing an article that gets him in prison for libel. Lisbeth Salander is a tattooed and pierced asocial young woman, who “has issues” . She works as a private investigator, and happens to be Sweden’s best. Henrik Vanger is an old man. He wants to know who killed his granddaughter Harriet some 40 years ago. Will Blomkvist be able to solve this decade long mystery? This turned out to be a suspenseful thriller, an absolute page-turner. I got properly freaked out at times. I loved the pace of this book, nicely reflecting the time, characters and places. What also sets this book aside from other great thrillers is the writer’s pursuit of causes he finds important: 1.
